Neither a city car, nor an SUV or a sports car. mindset is a light, powerful and efficient commuter for those day-to-day journeys. Two hours of electricity at the price of an espresso guarantee a minimum of 100 kilometers of driving. As soon as brakes come on, or the car is driven downhill, energy is replenished through recuperation. With an optimal solar roof system a single sunny day provides several kilometers of free mobility. And after a few days of sunshine, the battery is fully recharged. With its aluminum space-frame, slim synthetic body and pronounced aerodynamics the mindset is built like a modern sports car. The unique proportion of its large wheels offer security and ride quality, whereas the tyre profile minimizes rolling resistance, improves consumption and lowers air particle emissions.
Astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope have measured carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide in the atmosphere of the Jupiter-size extrasolar planet, HD 189733b. The planet is a "hot Jupiter," which is so close to its parent star that it completes an orbit in only 2.2 days. The planet is too hot for life, as we know it. But under the right conditions, on a more Earth-like world, carbon dioxide can indicate the presence of extraterrestrial life. This observation demonstrates that chemical biotracers can be detected by space telescope observations.
